Acts 16-18

"These men who have turned the world upside down have come here too..." (Acts 17:6)

I love it! How do you want to be remembered? What impact does your faith have on those around you? Are you known for turning the world upside down? Jesus sure did, and those that followed Him sure did too!

When Christ came He tripped up the world. John wrote that the world did not comprehend Him. Paul reminds us that the wise are baffled by Him. The foolishness of the Cross and an abandoned lifestyle to the sake of its message manifests the power of God and confounds the world!

But our lives only "turn the world upside down" when the world's way are markedly different from our own. Swimming down stream creates little disturbance. Going against the flow draws attention and challenges culture.

Which direction are you headed? Do people around you see a difference? Do they speak so highly of you as to say, "One of those people who have turned the world upside has come to us too!"?

Pray and ask God to do a mighty work in you so that through you God can continue to baffle the world and draw men to Himself. How do you want to be remembered?
